Empowering Communities through Compassion:
Often, when you are neurodiverse, you spend a great deal of time and energy looking for someone to believe in you and give you a chance. This could be true in relationships or work. We, the founders of No Apologies for Autism, are neurodiverse – and we have a commitment to ourselves and our community: If others don’t want to give us an opportunity, we will create one for ourselves!
Our Vision:
- Bring mentors with business creation and ownership experience together with neurodivergent future business owners.
- Help neurodivergent individuals find their passion and business idea that they have the support and ability to start, either with family, coaches or on their own.
- Help neurodivergent individuals build skills they can use at any point in their life.
- Build partnerships with other organizations in the community.
- Give hope and empowerment to individuals who may have grown up feeling disempowered.
Our Mission:
- Help neurodivergent individuals formulate ideas and start businesses.
- Support our entrepreneurial members with mentors, online courses and live events.
- Show the larger world the creativity and inspiration neurodivergent individuals possess.
- Create a permanent brick and mortar space for a bakery to provide jobs and training for members.
- Have an online store where we support and market for our members.
